Given that North Carolina has the highest suspension rate in the nation, we are wants to support local educators in addressing racial discipline disparities.
Our Educator Grants will support Pre K-12 educators seeking to apply anti-racism efforts in their classrooms and school communities. The focus of these microgrants, ranging from $500-1500, is to support projects that disrupt racial discipline disparities or to support the creation of racial equity teams. Pre K-12 Educators in North Carolina’s public and alternative schools, as well as therapeutic schools and juvenile justice facilities, are eligible to apply.
