Thank you for considering a donation to we are, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Durham, NC.  we are stands for working to extend anti-racist education, and our mission is to collaborate with children, families and educators to dismantle systemic racism in schools and beyond. We use a three-pronged approach to dismantle systemic racism in education by offering summer camps for children in rising 1st through 5th grade, professional development for educators, and workshops for those who are parenting. Under the leadership of Executive Director Ronda Taylor Bullock, PhD, in 2024, we are will host its 8th annual Let’s Talk Racism Conference, our 9th summer of we are Summer Camps, our 5th annual Educator Summer Institute, and our 4th annual Curriculum Workshop.

we are reimagines educational systems so that all children, particularly Black and Brown, can exist in spaces that affirm their identities and dignity, promote their educational advancement, and support their social and emotional well-being.

As we are settling in to our 9th year of service, we understand that we still have a long road ahead of us. We will always be committed to dismantling white supremacy in education and giving all of our students (especially Black and Brown) spaces that affirm their identity and dignity, promote their educational advancement, and support their social and emotional well-being, no matter how long it takes.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 by the end of the year. We're using these funds to build capacity, initiate teacher fellowships, student internships, grants, and scholarships for students. Please consider donating to our cause! #weare #forthelonghaul
