Educator Fall Institute  2020

Based interest and demand we will host an additional 3-day virtual Educator Institute this fall. Participating K-12 teachers will earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). It is strongly recommended teams of at least three from each organization attend, but this is not a requirement.  Participants will leave with a plan to address a racial equity issue at their own school/workplace.

The institute cost is $300. For teams of three or more, the cost is $275 per person.

"Led to do more"

As a former high school English teacher, UNC-Chapel Hill Ph.D candidate Ronda Taylor Bullock often felt insufficient. Hundreds of students were coming to high school struggling to read, and she felt ill equipped to tackle what she began to see as a social justice issue.
